How I Help
I accompany a select handful of business owners on a journey of growth.
It is a journey toward a good, prosperous, and congruent business where there is alignment between your personal ethics, company, culture, strategy, finances, and capital.
It all starts with a conversation about you. This conversation will tell me if and how I can advise you in gaining such clarity and congruence.
How I Help
I have a unique background that makes me well-suited to advise business principals, including 35 years of involvement in the international capital markets.
Still, my affinity is for private businesses that are not directly involved in capital markets, but whose business conditions are strongly influenced by them.
I have an investor’s perspective on the quality of a business and an ability to see the question behind what’s being asked.
Beyond my resume, I have what I believe a person paid to be a business advisor — a thinking partner — must:
- Experience in a wide range of relevant businesses and industries.
- Independence from your business and a willingness to (politely) challenge your preconceptions for your good and that of your business.
- The ability to think strategically and financially rather than just tactically — connecting the dots from a 40,000 foot perspective.
With a foundation of trust, mutual respect, and enjoyment of each other’s presence, I spend years stewarding seasoned leaders toward high growth. It’s the best and most rewarding activity I can think of.
